An article in the UK’s Mail on Sunday suggests that some of the best software available today is made using software from a company that sells proprietary software.
The Mail on Saturday reported that a company called A3 Software sells a suite of programs called Asure that uses proprietary software, including Adobe’s Premiere, Dreamworks’ Animoto, Microsoft’s Illustrator, Microsoft Paint, Pixar’s Paint.
Net and Microsoft PaintShop.
The software also has its own trademark, the Mail on Sundays reports.
However, the company has denied the Mail On Sunday report, saying the company doesn’t sell software that is proprietary, and that its products are free and open source.
“Asure Software is not a proprietary software vendor and our products are freely available,” the company said in a statement to The Verge.
“We use a proprietary platform that is fully open and allows anyone to create their own apps, or even create their software, for free.
This allows people to do things like write and share animations or make software for the Windows phone, which is available to all.”
The only software that A3 uses is Adobe Premiere.
As of today, no commercial product is made from Adobe Premiere or Adobe’s products.
The Asure software is the only one that we have ever developed, and it is a free and publicly available open source software.
“Microsoft has not responded to the Mail Offs Sunday report.
