Twitch has been one of the fastest growing streaming platforms in the world, with over 50 million subscribers in over 70 countries.
Its success has also seen it be used by several big names in the tech sector, including Facebook and Google.
Twitch has started a number of deals with major media brands and entertainment channels, including CNN, ESPN, BBC and Fox.
But one of its biggest acquisitions is an app that lets viewers stream video from popular music streaming sites like Spotify, SoundCloud and Apple Music.
Twitch announced the acquisition of the popular streaming service to compete with Spotify in December 2016.
It is expected to become a key part of the company’s digital strategy, as it seeks to build up its user base to compete more directly with other streaming services.
The company is investing in its own hardware and software, including its mobile app, and said that it will begin offering paid streaming to its subscribers this year.
But in a press release, the company said that its acquisition of Twitch would not impact the company as a whole.
Twitch said the purchase was made in order to “accelerate our mission to deliver a world-class entertainment platform that enables the widest possible distribution of content from all platforms and to enable Twitch viewers to create their own experiences.”
The company said it will be “more than content to Twitch’s community” and added that it is looking forward to working with Twitch users around the world.
The news comes as Twitch, which was launched in 2014, has gained popularity among streaming platforms and users.
The service has more than 70 million users in over 50 countries and more than 25 million subscribers.
It has been valued at over $5 billion, and it has more subscribers than any other streaming service.
Twitch recently raised $50 million in venture capital funding.
